I follow the Code of Practice as laid down by FACE, The UK Face Painting Association, ensuring a safe and hygienic service.

      • I am unable to paint anyone with obvious skin infections or damage. This includes cold sores, impetigo, chicken-pox or any kind of rash, cut, bruise or lesion, conjuctivitis (pink eye).
      • I reserve the right not to paint anyone who does not wish to be painted (children included), or who appears unwell.
      • I reserve the right not to paint any designs of an offensive nature.
      • Children under the age of 3 years cannot be painted for reasons of health and safety.
      • I am not liable for any allergic reactions to paints and products used. If a child has known allergies, please discuss these with me before painting begins. A skin patch test for allergic reation may be performed if needed.
      • I will always use a fresh, clean sponge for each new face to be painted.
      • Brushes and containers will be kept clean at all times, and are thoroughly disinfected after each session.
      • Extra care will be taken for the very young or very wriggly!
      • Food or dirt must be removed by parent/carer before painting begins. Wipes will be provided.
      • All products used are EEC approved and are of high cosmetic-grade quality.
      • I have full public liability insurance.
